There is always something new to discover about PANDORA jewellery. So the Beadazzle team had a chat and wrote down our favourite tit bits of information about our favourite brand. If you know a factoid about PANDORA then share it with us we’d love to hear from you!
Did you know?
Did you know that all authentic PANDORA jewellery contains a number of hallmarks, which identify the purity of the metal and the origin of the jewellery?
The standard maker’s mark on PANDORA jewellery is “ALE”, which stands for Algot Enevoldsen, the father of PANDORA’s founder, Per Enevoldsen. This charm necklace is the most popular PANDORA. The sterling silver barrel clasp will give you a secure fit and ensure that you don’t lose any of your precious charms. There is the trademark PANDORA threading system allowing your charms to screw onto your necklace with ease.
Did you know that there are now 17 PANDORA Moments bracelets and that doesn’t include any ready to wear Moments Bracelets which come with a variety of charms on them, or the PANDORA leather bracelets or ESSENCE bracelets.
Did you know that ESSENCE charms cannot be worn on the original PANDORA Moments Charm Bracelets or Bangles? Charms from the ESSENCE COLLECTION are smaller than the original Moments charms and only fit the ESSENCE bracelets or bangles, which are smaller and more delicate than PANDORA Moments bracelets.
Cleaning PANDORA Jewellery is easy!
Did you know that a safe way to clean most jewellery is to pour a small amount of a mild liquid soap in lukewarm water and use a small, soft brush?
If the jewellery is very dirty, leave it to soak for about 10 minutes. Rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft, clean cloth.
PANDORA Cubic Zirconia
Did you know that Cubic Zirconia stones, used in many of PANDORA’s charms and jewellery to add extra sparkle and elegance, were originally invented as an alternative to diamonds?
Today Cubic Zirconia is highly treasured in its own right as the light reflecting qualities of Cubic Zirconia (or CZ) stones, add a fabulous sparkly dimension to whatever item of jewellery they are added to making these stones a favourite and they are now one of PANDORA’s most widely used stones. Cubic Zirconia is created in laboratories from Zirconium Oxide, providing part of the name, “Zirconia”; “Cubic” refers to the perfect crystal symmetry of the end products, which dazzle with a
brilliant sparkle like a diamond.
PANDORA has a fantastic sustainability record
Did you know that all of PANDORA paper bags are certified from trees grown in sustainable forests? Going forward, PANDORA will continue to expand their range of certified paper-based and wood-based materials according to international sustainability standards.
